In the US, the stay-at-home order means that any “non essential” business must be closed.
In many states, liquor stores are allowed to stay opend and falls under the definition of an “essential business”. It is the case for the states of Kentucky, New-York, California or Illinois, among others.
On the other hand, the state of Pennsyslvania decided to close its liquor stores.
